Oatmeal is very effective in controlling heat rashes. Take 20 minutes of oatmeal bath. You can prepare your oatmeal bath by throwing a handful of oatmeal and letting t soak for 20 minutes. Alternatively, you can also rub soaked oatmeal on heat rashes and blisters to get away from prickly heat. Oatmeal helps in exfoliation thus helping in clearing your blocked sweat ducts. Oatmeal is also effective in treatment of itching and irritation.
Another home remedy you can try for the treatment against prickly heat is chickpea flour. Add some water to chickpea flour to make a thick paste. Apply this paste on area where there are rashes and blisters. Leave it for 15 minutes then wash with cold (not icy cold) water.
Baking soda is also very effective in heat rashes. Add ¼ cup of baking soda to lukewarm water and wash your body with this water.
If you have prickly heat, do not use soaps.
